Abbas Hails Danzaria as Parliament’s Steady Hand in House Farewell

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas led the Green Chamber in a moving valedictory session Thursday, eulogizing retiring Clerk, Yahaya Danzaria as the heart” of parliamentary continuity.

Abbas praised Danzaria’s legal precision and calm professionalism.

“Today, the House gathers in solemn recognition of service. The Office of the Clerk stands at the heart of this responsibility.
It provides continuity beyond electoral cycles.”

“His insistence on timely Notice Papers improved legislative planning, and revising Standing Orders and driving the 10th House Agenda. He stated.

Abbas noted that Danzaria remained composed under pressure, adding that his humility was central to his leadership style.

He said, “The legacy he leaves behind is thus considerable.

“On behalf of the House, I express sincere appreciation for his years of dedication. We wish him good health and fulfillment in retirement.”
