WAEC Confirms Continuation of 2024 SSCE Amidst Nationwide Strike

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has assured candidates that the 2024 Senior Secondary School Examination (SSCE) will continue as scheduled, despite the indefinite strike action declared by the Organized Labour,

In a statement by the Branch Controller Head of National Office, Mrs. T. A. Y Lawson acknowledges the shared concerns of the Unions and Nigerians but informed that the WASSCE is going on across the member Countries of WAEC and the Nigerian Child should not be put to a disadvantage of missing the exam.

The Examination body advised parents, guardians, Schools, and supervisors, to take note and make adequate arrangements for their wards to sit for the exam.
