EGOBAFF Paid a Courtesy Call to the Commander Guards Brigade Garrison Lt Col DB Fapohunda

The Ex Gowon Barracks Family Forum (EGOBAFF), in line with her long standing tradition of building synergy with the Commander Guards Brigade Garison in attempt to ease the actualisation of one her mission of given back to the society that once accommodated them (GOWON Barracks now Mambilla Barracks) paid a courtesy call to the LT COL DB FAPOHUNDA.

LT COL DB FAPOHUNDA is the present Commander Guards Brigade Garison.

The visit which includes Mr. Hussaini Kwaifa, Mr. Mark Sofa aka Papa, Mr. Moses Binbol, Mr Martin Braimah, Mrs Mercy Binbol and Ms. Hadiza Biu is aim at introducing the organisation (EGOBAFF) to the commander as well as intimating him of her activities both past, present and proposed, lead to series of positive discussion.

One among many is the forth coming empowerment program for 200 youths and women within the barracks and environs and the feeding of 500 children which is coming as part of the end of the year package.

The highlight of the visit was the recognition and investiture of LT COL DB FAPOHUNDA and Commander as one of the Patrons of the EGOBAFF. The commander appreciated the gesture and applauded the moves. He thanked the EGOBAFF for their effort so far and pledge his commitment to ensure sustainable partnership with her.

While proposing in his wisdom other creative means of promulgating the organisation, he charged EGOBAFF to forward her activities plan to him for advice.

Finally, he presented an award of recommendation to EGOBAFF as a means of appreciation and a buster for more work.
