Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun has resigned following talks with President Tinubu at the Villa,

Presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga confirmed this, Tuesday, stressing no forced exit.

Appointed 22nd IGP in June 2023 and Police Council-confirmed, Egbetokun cited statutory retirement amid tenure debates.
