Iran Strikes Qatar’s Ras Laffan in Israeli Retaliation

Iran launched a retaliatory strike on Qatar’s Ras Laffan Industrial City on Wednesday, hitting the world’s largest LNG facility following an Israeli attack on the South Pars gas field.

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry condemned the blatant Iranian attack for sparking fires and causing major damage, labeling it a sovereignty violation and regional threat while reserving the right to respond.

Qatar Energy confirmed missile impacts but reported all staff safe with no casualties.

Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian denounced strikes on its energy sites, warning of uncontrollable global repercussions, while Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi urged the world to note Israel’s recklessness, insisting every action provokes reaction.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia intercepted four ballistic missiles aimed at Riyadh, with debris causing no serious harm.
