Israel Bombs Tehran Heart: Second Strike Wave After Khamenei Killed in Massive Air Assault

Israel’s military on Sunday announced that it launched strikes into the central Tehran, following a sweeping air force operation that killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The follow-up barrage sparked alarms of Middle East-wide turmoil.

Israel Ministry said over the past day, its jets cleared paths deep into Tehran.

It would be recalled that Iranian state media had confirmed the 86-year-old leader’s death hours after U.S.-Israel strikes.

Iran TV added that Armed Forces Chief of Staff Abdolrahim Mousavi also perished.
