NNPCL Hikes Petrol to N1,082 Per Litre for Second Time in 24 Hours After Dangote Surge

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has raised Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) prices for the second time under 24 hours, hitting N1,082 per litre in Abuja from N967, following Dangote Refinery’s gantry adjustment.

NNPCL outlets in Kubwa Expressway, Gwarimpa, Wuse Zone 6, Zone 4, and Lifecamp now reflect the N115 jump part of a N207 rise in less than a week from N875 base.

Private stations like MRS, AA Rano, and Empire have followed twice, charging N1,092–N1,150, up from N960–N980.

Petroleum Retail Outlets Owners Association President, Billy Gillis-Harry blamed global crude volatility from the Iran-US-Israel Gulf conflict, after Dangote lifted gantry prices N121 to N995 per litre amid oil topping $90 per barrel.

He urged regulators to curb further swings.
