Filling stations owned by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) significantly reduced petrol prices on Monday, aligning with Dangote Refinery’s recent gantry drop.

Checks across Abuja showed NNPCL outlets dispensing at N1,295 per litre, down from N1,361 a N66 reduction per litre.

The move follows Dangote’s gantry price cut three days ago, from N1,285 to N1,200 per litre (N85 off).

However, Dangote-backed MRS stations remain at N1,367 per litre. Ranoil, Empire Energy, Emedab, and Total have yet to adjust, selling between N1,370 and N1,395 per litre
