NPFL Referee, Abdullahi suspended

The Nigeria Football Federation’s Refereeing Development Unit has suspended center referee Haruna Abdullahi from officiating further in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Abdullahi officiated the matchday 34 fixture between Doma United and Lobi Stars at the Pantami Stadium, Gombe on Saturday, where Doma United won 1-0 with a controversial goal that was scored from an offside position.

The suspension follows a petition by Lobi Stars to the NPFL and the decision has been communicated to the Jigawa Football Federation where the suspended referee is domiciled.
