Tinubu Transmits Tax Reform Bills To Reps

President Bola Tinubu on Thursday transmitted the Tax Reform Bills to the House of Representatives.
Tinubu in a letter to the Speaker of the house, Tajudeen Abbas said the tax reform bills aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of his administration.
Abbas while reading the letter at the plenary said the President has solicited for expedite consideration of the bills.
The letter indicated that the proposed Tax Reform Bills present substantial benefits to the present administration fiscal reform that will enhance tax payer compliance and boost Socio-economic development of Nigeria.
Tinubu said that the bill when passed into law, will encourage and attract more investment in Nigeria.
It reads: “The proposed Tax Reform Bills present substantial benefits that aligned with my government objectives and Fiscal reform and economic growth by enhancing Tax payer compliance, strengthening our physical institutions and fostering a more effective and fiscal regime”.
The Tax Reform Bills are, Nigeria Tax Bill, Nigeria Tax Administration Bill, Nigeria Revenue Establishment Bill and the joint Revenue Board Establishment Bill.
