ADC Shock Win: Moses Paul Tops APC at Wuse Polling Unit Despite Low Turnout

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) chairmanship candidate, Dr. Moses Paul scored a clear victory over APC at Polling Unit 076, Sani Abacha Estate, Wuse Zone 4, his own voting base in today’s FCT Area Council elections, amid generally low participation.

Out of 10 total votes cast, ADC claimed 7, APC took 2, and 1 ballot was invalid ,marking an opposition breakthrough despite the sparse crowd.

Paul pinned the apathy on FCT Minister’s movement restrictions, calling it unprecedented in his 40 years in AMAC, like “a state of emergency.”

He praised local INEC officials for professionalism but raised alarms over broader irregularities.

Vote Results ADC: 7 votes
APC: 2 votes
Rejected: 1 ballot
Total cast: 10 votes.

Key Allegation include: Threats and intimidation against ADC agents in Takum Shara, Kabusa wards (Dogongada, Shereti).

Widespread vote-buying favoring the ruling party.
