INEC Postpones Governorship Election To March 18

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed the governorship and state assembly elections to March 18, 2023.
The election was earlier scheduled to hold on Saturday, March 11 but was postponed by the commission about three days before the polls.

IINEC said the postponement is due to the inability of the commission to properly commence reconfiguration of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines.
