Bayern Munich Appoints Kompany As New Head Coach

German club, Bayern Munich has appointed Vincent Kompany as their new head coach on a three-year deal.
The 38-year-old Belgian succeeds Thomas Tuchel and leaves Burnley for Bayern after the two clubs agreed on a compensation fee.
Kompany joins Bayern Munich after the German club endured their first trophyless season in twelve years.
Kompany’s arrival comes despite him enduring a tough season after Burnley were relegated from the Premier League for an immediate return to the Championship.
The former Manchester City captain knows the German league having played at Hamburg, and is a fluent German speaker.
