NAICOM Pushes Reforms, Seeks Stronger BPP Collaboration
By Linda Ike
National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) is doubling down on transparency, strict solvency enforcement, and full compliance with the Nigerian Insurance Industry Reform Act (NIIRA) 2025, as Commissioner for Insurance and Chief Executive Officer, Olusegun Omosehin seeks tighter collaboration with key agencies.
Omosehin reinforced this pledge during a working visit to Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) Director-General, Adebowale Adedokun in Abuja, aligning with NAICOM’s inter-agency partnership goals.
He assured full adherence to claims processing, regulatory standards, and Nigerian laws in all dealings.
The commissioner thanked Adedokun for steady support and used the opportunity to advance NIIRA implementation.
Adedokun reciprocated warmly, pledging ongoing synergy and a forthcoming visit to NAICOM headquarters.
He urged stakeholders to ramp up cooperation, boosting accountability, efficiency, and trust in procurement and insurance sectors.
