NAICOM, NOA rally Nigerians on benefits of Insurance

The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has called on Nigerians to reap the benefits derivable in the Insurance sector of the country.

The Commissioner for insurance and Chief Executive Officer, National Isurance Commission NAICOM, Olorundare Thomas made the call when he paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of the National Orientation Agency, NOA, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu in Abuja.

The visit according to Thomas is in an effort to explore ways of partnership with NOA to give Nigerians the right orientation with regards to Insurance by leveraging their strategic network or reach- out to educate citizens more on Insurance benefits.

The Director General of NOA assured to leverage on NAICOM’s structure, reach, platforms as well as understanding of the locality where it has presence, and promised to work closely with NAICOM.

He testified how he was promptly settled by Insurance when his private car was stolen in 2007.
