The Republic of Tunisia Embassy in Nigeria is set to hold a multisectoral economic forum to promote business relationship between Nigeria and Tunisia.
Ambassador of Tunisia to Nigeria, Mohsen Antit disclosed this on Wednesday while briefing newsmen in Abuja.
Antit said the economic forum is a way of strengthening bilateral relations between Nigeria and Republic of Tumisia in the economic and investment field
He added that “the business will enhance investments between the two countries hence it will introduce new dynamic businesses to the people.
“The forum is the first time that Tunisia and Nigeria will assembly together in Nigeria to discuss business investments.”
“it will start from September 9 to 13, 2024, in Abuja.”
Antit further expressed concern over non direct flight from Nigeria to Tumisia, saying that it hammers the economic, political and cultural relationship between the two Countries.
He also disclosed that the Tunisia Government and President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu are in discussion to ensure that flight would go directly from Nigeria to Tunisia in 2026.
He stressed that the direct flight would facilitate inter-relationship between people, businessmen, politicians and promote culture of both countries.
