Breaking: Former President Buhari Dies in London

The Former President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari is dead.

Garba Shehu, his spokesperson confirmed the dead on Sunday, July 13, 2025, disclosing the he died in a clinic in London.

In a statement, Shehu said that Buhari ‘s family announced that he died at about 4:30 pm today.

President Buhari served as Nigeria’s civilian president from 2015 to 2023 after previously leading the country as a military head of state between 1983 and 1985.
