Obi Leads NASS Protest Over E-Transmission Push

Former Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi joined Civil Society Groups and people living with disabilities on Monday to protest at the National Assembly entrance, demanding the Senate pass the Electoral Act Amendment Bill with mandatory real-time electronic transmission of results.

Blocked by security from entering, the coalition warned that e-transmission is essential to prevent the hitches that marred the 2023 elections.
