Court Grants Malami, Wife, Son N200m Bail Each in Abuja Fraud Case

A Federal High Court in Abuja has granted bail to former Attorney General, of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, his wife Asabe Bashir, and son Abdulaziz Malami, each at ₦200 million with two sureties of equal value.
Justice Joyce Abdulmalik stipulated that one surety must own property in Maitama or Asokoro, premium districts in the Federal Capital Territory. The defendants must also surrender their international passports.
They remain in Nigerian Correctional Service custody until conditions are met. The trial starts March 16.
