He vowed to break the shackle of violence gripping Plateau State, drawing on fond memories of a peaceful Jos from his youth.

He ordered the Minister of Communications to install a 5,000-camera surveillance network across the city for real-time tracking of troublemakers.
Directed security forces to unearth and find the killers behind the atrocities.
Tasked the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs with a numeric analysis of victims and losses to deliver immediate aid to displaced residents.
Expanded the state’s peace and security committee with more inclusive leaders to heal communal rifts.

Brandishing his signature broken shackle cap, Tinubu linked the violence to poverty and ignorance.

He urged local leaders to ditch divisions and revive Jos as Nigeria’s political and social hub through progressive development.
