CBN Appoints Isa Abdulmumin As New Spokesperson

The Central Bank of Nigeria has appointed Mr. Isa Abdulmumin as the acting Director, Corporate Communication Department of the bank.

Abdulmumin’s appointment followed the retirement of Osita Nwanisobi as head of Corporate Communication Department on Friday.

His hardworking and efficient professional had paved way for him to climb to the position of a spokesperson of the Apex bank

Currentnews.com.ng reports that Abdulmumin, a Deputy Director has been in the Corporate communication department since he joined the CBN.

His predecessor, Nwanisobi was a special assistant to the Deputy Governor Financial System Stability FSS between 2009 to 2011 and also as a Special Assistant to the Corporate Services Deputy Governor from 2001 to 2009.before he took over from Isaac Okorafor in 2020 after his retirement from service.
