NAICOM Partners Marine and Blue Economy Ministry for Insurance Compliance

The National Insurance Commission, NAICOM is collaborating with the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy to create a strong awareness for insurance penetration across the country and ensure compliance with its requirements.

The Commissioner for Insurance, Olusegun Omosehin disclosed this during a visit to the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Adegboyega Oyetola in his office, in Abuja.

Omosehin who went with the Executive Management of NAICOM, said the aims of the partnership are to create a portal for verification of Marine insurance policies and exploring options in the cabotage act to ensure compliance with insurance requirements.

Recalled that the Commissioner for Insurance has visited many Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs to intimate them on the benefits of insurance
