PDP Bigwig Defects to APC in Dramatic Last-Minute Twist Before FCT Polls

Less than 72 hours to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council elections, Bwari Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairmanship candidate, Julius Adamu stunned supporters by stepping down for All Progressives Congress (APC)’s Joshua Ishaku Musa.

Announcing minutes ago, Adamu credited FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike’s intervention,

He said, “After deep consultations with Minister Wike, I’ve realized Joshua and I are brothers. It won’t do for us to destroy each other over one seat.
I’ve relinquished my candidacy to Hon. Joshua, supporters to.back him to win.”

Wike, speaking at the event, sealed the pitch, “Bwari people, vote Joshua and I’ll deliver more roads. No mistakes,.turn out Saturday and ensure his victory.”
