PDP Mocks APC’s Terror Over Opposition Summit, Hints at Amaechi-Gawuna Alliance

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has taunted the All Progressives Congress (APC) on social media, claiming the ruling party feigns fearlessness while acting terrified by an upcoming Summit for Opposition Party Leaders.

“They say they are not scared, but they are behaving like people who are terrified. But we will not be deterred, because we are on the side of the Nigerian people,” the PDP post read.

An online correspondent reported that APC had not responded to the allegation as of press time. Efforts to reach party spokesperson Felix Morka were unsuccessful.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) separately highlighted former Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi’s attendance alongside ex-Kano Deputy Governor, Nasiru Gawuna and senior Kwankwasiyya Movement figures at the summit.

“The summit sets the stage for a strategic tightening of ties between key political blocs,” ADC stated.
