Chaos erupted at Dabi Primary School in Pai Ward, Kwali Area Council, as INEC officials arrived late without full voting materials, allegedly missing 830 ballot papers and delaying the FCT Area Council elections.

Observers from PDP and APC raised alarms by 7:45 a.m., with materials stuck at nearby Bako Primary School.

PDP’s Habibu Musa fumed, “If it’s not complete, they’re not coming, INEC must provide those ballots.”

APC’s Abduljubril Abdulsallam confirmed nearly 835 shortfalls, united party agents demanding fixes before distribution.

Tensions boiled over into rowdiness until an INEC rep arrived at 8:45 a.m., stranding eager voters amid the standoff.

In another development, Accreditation hummed along seamlessly at Polling Unit 009, Lugbe Primary School, with ballots now flowing to eligible voters in the FCT Area Council elections, yet post-accreditation turnout lags far behind past polls.

Voters voiced doubts over vote integrity, prompting many to cast ballots then head out, eyeing a 2:30 p.m. return for counting.
