Tinubu Decorates Tunji Disu as Acting IG Amid Egbetokun Resignation

President Bola Tinubu has decorated Tunji Disu as Acting Inspector-General of Police at the State House in Abuja.

The ceremony occurred Wednesday, a day after Tinubu named Disu as the nation’s top cop following Kayode Egbetokun’s resignation.

The Presidency confirmed Egbetokun’s exit Tuesday, after he cited pressing family reasons in his letter.

Presidential Special Adviser, Bayo Onanuga announced Tinubu’s acceptance of the resignation.
