Wike Hails Rapid Progress on Key Abuja Road Projects

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike has expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of ongoing road infrastructure projects, including the Jahi–Gwarimpa Interchange and Airport Road to Kuje Junction.

During inspections, Wike commended contractors CBC Global and Arab Contractors for meeting standards and delivering swift results.

He highlighted the Jahi–Gwarimpa Interchange’s potential to slash traffic congestion and boost connectivity across key FCT districts once completed.

At the Airport Road project, Wike voiced confidence in its May completion, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to timely infrastructure that eases daily commutes for residents.

The tours underscore ongoing FCT efforts to monitor urban development and transportation upgrades in Nigeria’s capital.
