US President, Biden signs $700bn bill to fight climate change, others

The United States President, Joe Biden has signed a $700bn bill to fight climate change and healthcare costs while raising taxes on the rich.

This is the most significant Federal investment so far in the history.

The new law captures measures to curb the price of prescription drugs while investing 375bn to fight climate change

Democrats believe the bill could bring more support from the citizens ahead of the mid-term elections in November for Biden to be retained for two more years.

The bill was signed on Tuesday August 16 by the US President as the final piece of his domestic agenda.
