Nigeria Customs Service has warned the public over fraudulent’Customs Authority’ Facebook page.

A statement by the service on Saturday reads:

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) wishes to inform the general public that a fake Facebook page operating under the name “Customs Authority” is impersonating the Service with the aim of mislead and defrauding members of the public.

Please be informed that this page is NOT affiliated with the Nigeria Customs Service in any way.

The public is strongly advised to disregard any information, offers, requests, or communications from the fraudulent page and to avoid engaging with it.
