JAMB Releases Results for 632,788 Candidates on First Day of 2026 UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released results for 632,788 candidates who sat for the first day of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Thursday.

JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin announced this Friday, stating candidates can check scores by sending UTMERESULT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using their registered phone numbers. Result slip printing is not yet available, with more batches to follow as marking continues.

JAMB warned against result manipulation, noting two candidates and one parent are in custody for AI-aided falsification a serious criminal offence.

The Board urged integrity through official channels for a transparent admissions process.
